I'm copying some files from a DVD to a flash drive on a computer. Is there any way without running one of the files (if it is infected) that a virus could infect the computer while being copied to the flash drive?
If you want to rip DVD and copy DVD to your computer, here is a step by step guide to rip DVD and convert any videos to other video formats and audio formats for iPod touch/classic/video/nano, iPhone, Zune, PSP, video capable MP3 players, etc. Meanwhile, it can also support output almost any audio/video format including Video format (H264, MP4, WMV, AVI, MOV, RM, 3GP, flv, SWF, mpeg-1, mpeg-2, VCD, SVCD, DVD, etc.) and Audio format (AC3, AAC, MP2, MP3, MP4, RA, WMA, etc.). Dvd to flash
How to copy a bootable dvd to a Flash usb disk and make it bootable !?
My mini-laptop havnt any optical drives. i have 2 dvds that are for system recovery, how i can copy the recovery files too a bootable usb disk and revover my windows with it !?
thanks
model : lenovo s9e
it will be A LOT faster if you bought yourself a external usb dvd drive. using flash memory sticks to hold dvds will be at least 10 times slower. you will need a external usb dvd drive anyway if you want to install programs from a cd/dvd anyway. the drives are as cheap as 50$ last time i remember. and they sell the slim laptop ones for a bit more.

How can I take a flash file and put it on DVD?
Ted has a video made on flash and he want to get it on DVD. He tried rendering it as an AVI file...but when he did this it had no sound. He also tried to render it as a QuickTime file, but this resulted in a really bad quality video....
Do you also meet such problem before? Actually what Ted did wrong is he didn’t choose a good format and use a good software. DVD needs MOV file because you can burn such video to DVD directly.
If you do not familiar with these boring formats, you need a good converter. You can use Moyea FLV to Video Converter Pro 2, it has a option of DVD. So you do not need to know what format is most suit you only need to know what you want to do.
Anyway, a converter is not enough you also need a DVD burner. It is easy go to google and insert DVD burner you can find a lot of such software and most are free. I remember that Realplayer or Media Player can burn DVD too. Or I am wrong.
At last you can use the burner to burn the video to DVD. So as you see, anything could be done by a proper software. And if you need to convert DVD to Flash , then you will need Moyea Flash Video MX Pro . You can find more details of this software in my other posts.

How to make live video streaming and web casting?
A few days ago, my friend asked one question: “which is the best and most cost effective solution for live video streaming and webcasting on a website?”
So I searched this problem on google. There are some tools will be helpful:
1. A flash video player maker, like Moyea Web Player Pro, which can create a web page embedded with a web video (flash video) player with scrollable thumbnail playlist and skinnable control bar, you can add as many videos to the playlist of the player as you like. Or if you think it is too complicate you also can use Moyea Flash Video MX Pro to add a player on your video, by the way you also can use it to convert DVD to Flash with it.
2. A server-based avi to flash video converter engine, like Adobe® Flash® Media Interactive Server 3, Flash Video MX SDK or other solutions to accomplish the same end goal.
3. Broadcaster StudioPRO enables you to broadcast video files, desktop activity or streaming video via your webcam. The program acts as a virtual camera drive, and you can configure any webcam application (e.g Yahoo Messenger, Live Messenger, Skype etc.) to use the Broadcaster driver instead of your regular camera. Broadcaster will then act as a proxy between your webcam and the application, allowing you to switch between live webcam capture and broadcasting of saved files, or even desktop activity. In addition, the program also enables you to broadcast to multiple applications, allowing you to use your webcam with more than one messenger application at the same time. Broadcaster StudioPRO can also be used to record video playback from other media players or web browsers by placing the recording frame over the video area and recording it. The video can then be saved as MPEG, MP4, AVI or VOB file. The program offers some unique features, we particularly liked the ability to send desktop activity via Live Messenger (or other applications). The lack of detailed documentation however will make it difficult to use for novice users.

Can I upload DVD to YouTube?
Yesterday my brother asked me can he upload DVD to YouTube? Well, it is possible but we need to convert it to FLV first.
First of all let us know some common sense: YouTube likes FLV video most, so before you upload them please make sure your video is compatible with YouTube, otherwise youtube will convert the video on its sever, this process will take a long long time and some time it fails (because of the file is too big or Youtube can not recognize the file’s format or something else.)
I suggest him to convert his DVD to Flash on his computer before he uploads it, it would be much faster.
I ask him to try Moyea Flash Video MX because it can convert nearly every video format and DVD directly to FLV.
More details can be found:

Nothing like lunch’s meal and I'll go buy groceries if I need something also I want it to be nutrious and healthy and good and tasting good! Something for 2 girls 11 and 12! A meal for 2
A: Easy Chicken and Dumplings
2 tablespoons butter
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound boneless chicken thighs (or breasts)
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 (10 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoons shortening
2/3 cup buttermilk
Melt butter in a large saucepan or pot over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic for 5 minutes, then stir in chicken and saute until browned, about 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in broth, vegetables, sage and thyme; mix all together and let simmer over medium heat while preparing the dumplings.
In a medium bowl, mix flour and parsley together. Add shortening and stir mixture into coarse, mealy dough. Stir in buttermilk, a little bit at a time, until dough holds together and is soft but firm. (If needed, add up to 2 tablespoons more buttermilk).
Bring chicken mixture to a boil over medium high heat and drop round spoonfuls of dumpling mixture on top (do not let dumplings touch each other). Reduce heat to low, cover pot and let simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
