Journalist Roxana Saberi will leave Iran, according to his entourage

The Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi, released from prison in Tehran last Monday, was trying to leave Iran Friday on a flight out of the Iranian capital, said a friend of his family who will travel with her.

"Roxana, her parents and myself, leaving the country. We are at the airport and the flight is scheduled at 04H40 local time (GMT 0OH10). We will present to the immigration authorities within 10 minutes," Payam Mohepi said.

Mr. Mohepi did not specify the destination of the apppareil on which he was embarking. Shortly after the release of Roxana Saberi, Reza Saberi his father, had indicated that his family was preparing his return to the United States.
